Yesterday I was out for my morning walk and was thinking what a beautiful day it was—a thought that transported me back to a time some twenty-five years ago when I was sitting in a Los Angeles church congregation listening to Roderick C. Meredith praising God for giving us all a glorious Sabbath day on which to worship. Back then it never occurred to me to ask, when we had to endure miserable, hot, smog-laden Sabbath days, if the opposite was true and if God was cursing the day and our church congregation! Back then I never noticed the constant double standard that comprises the foundation of Christianity—actually all religions.
What is wrong with the religiously-minded that they consistently abandon logic and reason in the face of those so-called "unexplainable mysteries" of God? Why do people consistently ignore facts and logic and move heaven and earth to believe in fables?
All over the world the superstitions, fable-believing faith of the ignorant masses are bringing us closer to a worldwide upheaval. A few days ago, in the Russian village of Beslan , the bloody takeover of the village school by Chechen terrorists ended with about three-hundred fifty people dead—half of them children. Who are the Chechens, and what is their reason for such blood-letting? About five hundred years ago the region was predominately Christian, but today it is largely Sunni Islamic, following a Sufi mystical form of Islam. This little nugget of history is the key. To shorten the story, Chechen religious leaders preach holy terror against the Russian government, and thousands of men, women and children are blown up, shot dead, hacked to death, burned alive and mutilated in a variety of ways as a result (it is now reported that "Chechen patriots" raped a number of young school girls during the ordeal, which is allowable since the girls, according to Islamic "reasoning," are infidels)—Chechnya, one little corner of the world that is bringing us all closer to that final day of reckoning when religious madness may end life on Mother Earth as we know it.
Speaking of torturing and killing in the name of God, in an 800-page tome, Vatican-sponsored scholars recently announced that the numbers of "heretics" tortured and murdered during the so-called Holy Inquisition, have been greatly exaggerated by historians. In other words, the Holy Inquisition has been officially "downsized" by the Vatican. One report read: "Its most startling conclusion is that the Inquisition was not so bad after all. Torture was rare and only about 1 percent of those brought before the Spanish Inquisition were actually executed. As one headline read "Vatican Downsizes Inquisition." My question here is how many screams, how much blood and how many mangled dead bodies are acceptable to the Vatican? One hundred, one thousand, ten thousand, one hundred thousand—more, less? On how many dead, mutilated bodies does the Prince of Peace wish to build his universal church of "love?" (Think about this the next time someone tells you that Jesus shed his blood for you!)
Here's a strange one: On 9th March of this year, psychology Professor Kerri Dunn caused a state-wide uproar when she claimed that her car was vandalized on the Claremont McKenna College campus, which is located just east of Los Angeles. Windows smashed, tires slashed, and a swastika, "nigger lover" and "kike whore" had been spray-painted on her hood and doors. The state's Jewish leaders immediately demanded a criminal investigation, with the usual inferences that all "gentiles" are guilty of fostering "anti-Semitism." D'ror Chankin-Gould said that the attack came as no surprise and linked it to growing incidents of anti-semitism around the world. "We are here to say that we are scared," said Chankin-Gould. "Swastikas and broken glass trigger potent memories for Jews," he added. The campus was closed for an entire day, in the words of College President Pamela Gann, ". . . to provide time and opportunity for our students and faculty to reflect on the meaning and significance of this horrible hate crime."
18 August 2004 saw this headline: Professor at Claremont McKenna College Found Guilty of Staging Antisemitic Hate Crime. It seems that Professor Dunn was observed vandalizing her own car by two Claremont students, and was found guilty by a Pomona, California Superior Court Jury. She now faces almost four years in prison when she is sentenced this month. We can add this incident to the rising tide of hoax anti-semitic hate crimes (so-called) around the world.
In France this past month, police arrested a woman who claimed that she was the victim of an anti-Jewish attack on a Paris train. She told authorities that six men had cut her clothes, drew swastikas on her body, while accusing her of being Jewish. The attack "stunned" the French public, and President Jacques Chirac expressed horror and promised justice. The woman later confessed that she had staged the incident. Up in New Zealand, where there has been something of an uproar between Jewish and "gentile" New Zealanders because two Israeli MOSSAD agents were sentenced to prison for spying, there was a sudden outbreak of "anti-semitism," which caused "gentile" New Zealanders to backtrack. However, it didn't take authorities long to discover that local Jews had desecrated one of their own cemeteries with swastikas in an attempt to stir sympathy for the Israeli spies.
If you are wondering what is behind these "anti-semitic hate-crimes" the answer is not hard to figure: It's all about religion, and in this case the survival of the religious state of Israel. That is it pure and simple!
As of September, 04 the most deadly religious-inspired situation remains the Bush Administration's invasion of Iraq, where seven more US soldiers were killed this morning by a car bomb, bringing the US death toll there to nearly 1,000. (We never hear about the number of Iraqis killed by the USA in this "war of liberation.") This religious deathtrap is followed closely by the carnage in Israel/Palestine. In Haifa, Israel a suicide bomber detonated a bomb aboard a crowded bus a few days back, killing himself and another sixteen people, and wounding more than fifty-five others. Of course, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon retaliated by killing fourteen Palestinians, whom he labeled "terrorists" to give the crime the appearance of legitimacy, with USA-supplied tanks, helicopters and warplanes.
When, oh when, will the religious madness end? When will those of you who know the full horror of religion join with those of us who are trying to make a difference?

Hello again from Washington!
I am finally back from my vacation (which was rather more lengthy than I had planned) and I am ready to get back to the grind stone. During my travels (which covered over 15,000 miles) I had an opportunity to meet with several long-time supporters, and gain some useful insight for the future of darrellwconder.com. There was, however, one disappointment. During my trip I had hoped to finalize plans to get our web site's book store page up and running, but the plans fell through at the last moment, so this part of our operation will have to be again put on hold. Hopefully, in the near future I can work out the problems and the many valuable books out there can be made available to our readers.
There was one thing I brought back from my travels, and that is the certainty that Christianity is surely the most destructive enemy mankind has ever known—more deadly than the bubonic plague of the Middle Ages, and as deadly as the nuclear threat that now hangs over the world. If mankind cannot find a way to counter the nasty effects of organized religion, then this plague will surely bring the world to the brink of destruction—a prime example being the Iraqi religious/political mire in which George W. Bush has entangled this nation. Now, before some sputter that religion is not at the root of the so-called Iraqi war, let me fill you in on some little known revelations, one of which comes from The Moscow Times.com:
The Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz was given transcripts of a negotiating session between Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas and faction leaders from Hamas and other militant groups. Abbas, who was trying to persuade the groups to call a cease-fire in their uprising against Israeli forces, described for them his recent summit with Ariel Sharon and Bush.
During the tense talks at the summit, Bush sought to underscore the kind of authority he could bring to efforts at achieving peace in the Middle East. While thundering that there could be 'no deals with terror groups,' Bush sought to assure the rattled Palestinians that he also had the ability to wring concessions from Sharon. And what was the source of this wonder-working power? It was not, as you might think, the ungodly size of the U.S. military or the gargantuan amount of money and arms the United States pours into Israel year after year. No, Bush said he derived his moral heft from the Almighty Himself. What's more, the Lord had proven his devotion to the Crawford Crusader by crowning his military efforts with success. In fact, he told Abbas, God was holding the door open for Middle East peace right now—but they would have to move fast, because soon the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe would have to give His attention to something far more important: the election of His little sunbeam, Georgie, in 2004.
Here are Bush's exact words, quoted by Ha'aretz: 'God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me, I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them.' You can't put it plainer than that. The whole chaotic rigmarole of Security Council votes and UN inspections and congressional approval and Colin Powell's whizbang Powerpoint displays of 'proof' and Bush's own tearful prayers for 'peace'—it was all a sham, a meaningless exercise. NO votes, no inspections, no proof or lack of proof—in fact, no earthly reason whatsoever—could have stopped Bush's aggressive war on Iraq. It was God's unalterable will: the Lord of Hosts gave a direct order for George W. Bush to 'strike at Saddam.'
And strike he did, with an awesome fury that rained death and destruction on the mustachioed whore of Babylon, with a firestorm of Godly wrath that consumed the enemy armies like so much chaff put to the flame—and with an arsenal of cruise missiles, cluster bombs, dive bombers and assault helicopters that killed up to 10,000 innocent civilians: blasted to pieces in their beds, shot down in their fields and streets, crushed beneath the walls of their own houses, boiled alive in factories, ditches and cars, gutted, mutilated, beheaded, murdered, women, children, elders, some praying, some wailing, some cursing, some mute with fear as metal death ripped their lives away and left rotting hulks behind. This was the work of the Lord and His faithful servant, whom He hath raised high up to have dominion over men. . . . And just as God countenanced deception on the part of Abraham, just as God forgave David for the murders he ordered, just as God blessed the armies of Saul as they obliterated the Amalekites, man, woman and child, so will He overlook any crime committed by Bush and his minions as they carry out His will. That's why Bush can always 'do whatever it takes' to achieve his goals. And by his own words to Abbas, we see that he places his election in 2004 above all other concerns, even the endless bloodshed in the Middle East.
So what new crimes will the Lord have to countenance to keep His appointed servant in power?

Of course, the other religious factor in the so-called Iraqi war (and by far the most serious) is the agenda of the state of Israel, whose leaders have publically boasted that the US invaded Saddam's nation at their bidding—a boast made more believable by the fact that the leading war hawks in the Bush Administration are mostly Zionists with strong ties to Israel. Although widely ignored by a pro-Zionist American media, the best summary of this fact was recently laid bare before the American public by the very senior U.S. Senator from South Carolina, Ernest Hollings:
Israel's survival depends on knowing. Israel long since would have taken us to the weapons of mass destruction if there were any or if they had been removed. With Iraq no threat, why invade a sovereign country? The answer: President Bush's policy to secure Israel. Led by Wolfowitz, Richard Perle and Charles Krauthammer, for years there has been a domino school of thought that the way to guarantee Israel's security is to spread democracy in the area.
Wolfowitz wrote: 'The United States may not be able to lead countries through the door of democracy, but where that door is locked shut by a totalitarian deadbolt, American power may be the only way to open it up.' And on another occasion: Iraq as 'the first Arab democracy ... would cast a very large shadow, starting with Syria and Iran but across the whole Arab world.' Three weeks before the invasion, President Bush stated: 'A new regime in Iraq would serve as a dramatic and inspiring example for freedom for other nations in the region.'
Every president since 1947 has made a futile attempt to help Israel negotiate peace. But no leadership has surfaced amongst the Palestinians that can make a binding agreement. President Bush realized his chances at negotiation were no better. He came to office imbued with one thought—re-election. Bush felt tax cuts would hold his crowd together and spreading democracy in the Mideast to secure Israel would take the Jewish vote from the Democrats. You don't come to town and announce your Israel policy is to invade Iraq. But George W. Bush, as stated by former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill and others, started laying the groundwork to invade Iraq days after inauguration. And, without any Iraq connection to 9/11, within weeks he had the Pentagon outlining a plan to invade Iraq. He was determined. In the Mideast, terrorism is a separate problem to be defeated by diplomacy and negotiation, not militarily. Here, might does not make right—right makes might. Acting militarily, we have created more terrorism than we have eliminated.

Although couched in political rhetoric about "spreading democracy in the Middle East," the fact is that for over fifty years America's leaders have fully supported Zionism's only concern, which is the global welfare of Israel AT ALL COSTS! Let's get this straight in our minds.
For decades prior to 1948 (the year in which the modern nation-state of Israel was founded) a powerful, rich group of Jewish leaders planned the creation of a Jewish state built upon the stolen land of another people. With unlimited wealth, these men achieved their goals by buying the services of world leaders, especially in America, which is why so many world leaders supported an army of Zionist invaders as they swarmed into Palestine, degraded, tortured and murdered its inhabitants, and why the crimes continue to this day with little or no criticism from the world's leading nations. Even worse, the situation is bound to get much worse since Israel's most blood-thirsty leaders have publically declared that their goal is to "reclaim" all the land supposedly promised to their mythical ancestors—land that encompasses most of the Middle East, and which is presently occupied by millions of Arabs.
What makes this goal even more volatile is the fact that the core support for Zionism comes from a powerful political block of American fundamentalist Christians, who staunchly believe that the creation of the state of Israel was the fulfilment of biblical prophecy—although it can be easily demonstrated that it was not, which is why a number of Orthodox rabbis actively work against the state of Israel. The situation as it now stands could easily lead the world into a nuclear nightmare—a nightmare that is really just on the horizon, and one to which most Americans are completely blind. Religion is the culprit!
Religion is why humans kill one another en mass, hate one another, invade one another and torture one another, and with religious maniacs in control of the world's nuclear arsenals, we all face extinction in another world war if this madness isn't halted! But all is not black: there is some good news here.
Slowly, but with determined effort, small groups are risking up to speak out against the religious madness and inform their neighbors of the potential disaster. One such group is Neturei Karta International, which is a worldwide organization of Orthodox Jews opposed to Zionism. New York, (November 2, 2000)—Neturei Karta International, a worldwide organization of Orthodox Jews opposed to Zionism, will be staging a counter—protest outside the Palestinian Mission at 65th Street between Park and Lexington on Thursday at twelve noon in response to the planned demonstration of a New York board of "rabbis" in support of Israel. The Orthodox will 'present to the public an alternative view of the turmoil in the Middle East'.
"All Jews do not support Israel," said Rabbi Yisroel Weiss the Neturei Karta spokesman. "Some of us view it as terribly immoral. We see Zionism as a violation of the Creator's decree that we remain in Exile."
Moreover, he continued, "Zionism has for over a century sought to strip the Palestinian people of their rights as a people and as individuals. There is no lasting solution to the terrible sufferings in the Middle East short of a peaceful dismantling of the state.
"How many wars? How much killing? How many dead on both sides will it take until we have learnt the lesson that Zionism was a great tragedy for all men.
"We ask those Jews, confused by Zionism, to examine the bloody record of the Israeli state. Has it helped or harmed Jewish—Gentile relations?"
Neturei Karta has often demonstrated side by side with Palestinians against Israeli occupation. They feel that all attempts to end Jewish exile by human means are illegitimate and doomed to failure.
Rabbi Weiss added, "Thinking logically, Zionism has failed. It is time to rethink our positions by the light of the guidance offered us by the Torah."

Dr. Laura Schiessinger is a US radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently she said that homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstances. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a US resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative.
Dear Dr. Laura:
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them.
1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord—Lev. 1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness—Lev. 15:19-24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination—Lev. 11:10—it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

And so, this is a little bit of the world in which we all must struggle to survive. Maybe, just maybe, if enough of us come to see the truth, by the slenderest thread, we could bequeath to our children and grandchildren a far different world—one divested of dictators, madmen and priests.

From the beginning of human history a "holy" book, its "god" and a "minister" to preach the mess, has been a ready excuse for murder and mayhem. It was so in ancient Sumer, mankind's oldest known civilization. It was so in ancient Babylon, Assyria and Egypt. It was the excuse for the ancient Israelites to invade Canaan, and murdered every man, woman and child, down to the last suckling babe. It was the excuse for Christians to wage a repressive, murderous campaign against Jews during the Middle Ages. It was the excuse for Christians to rack and torture "heretics" during the Holy Inquisition. It was the excuse for Puritans to torture and murder their fellow Christians in America during the seventeenth-century witchcraft trials. It was the excuse behind the murderous 60s and 70s in Northern Ireland, where Catholics and Protestants killed one another in the name of Jesus; and it is the deadly excuse now reaching a boiling point around the world, especially in the Middle East.
A few weeks ago in Iraq, Moslem suicide bombers walked into crowds of fellow Moslems and killed over 200 as they gathered to worship on one of their "holy" days. The excuse: The killers were Sunni Moslems, and their targets were Shiite Moslems, which means that they all read the same book and worshiped the same god, but did so in a different way. That's all it took for these killers to blow themselves and their fellow Allah-worshipers into bits. Religious madness with no end in sight!
Undoubtedly most people know about the controversy over the newly-released Mel Gibson film The Passion of the Christ, which is Gibson's attempt to retell the Gospel story of Jesus' death. The problem: some Jewish leaders feel that the film is an insult because it dredges up the spectacle of Jews as Christ-killers. The reality: The film has simply refocused world attention on a 2,000-year-old hatred between two faiths that share a common heritage—something akin to the Shiites and Sunni Moslems, who, incidently, worship the same god as do Jews and Christians!
Why all this hatred among people who supposedly share a common heritage? It is quite basic: All three religions are founded upon the destructive and patently hate-filled philosophy of the Old Testament Jehovah, who was nothing more than a Canaanite deity embodying the deadly destructive attributes of the gods of Sumer, Babylon and Egypt.
Of course most Christians will sputter that the New Testament has no message of hate, even though it has been the inspiration behind more destruction and death than any other religion in human history. But the fact is that the New Testament has numerous verses that easily incite murder. Take Luke 19:27 for instance. Here one may find the "Lamb of God" inciting murder: "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." Further, in case his followers might protest that they didn't have the instruments to carry out his command, in Luke 22:36 this "god of peace" tells his followers: ". . . he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."
Jesus' incitement to murder pales into insignificance when he resurfaces in the book of Revelation as a end-time world conqueror, and outlines his coming reign of terror and vengeance, when he unleashes the Great Tribulation on earth to destroy his enemies—who, we discover in the Gospels, cannot be converted to Jesus' message of "love" because he, Jesus, has closed their minds to his message!
This same spirit can be found in Judaism's Tanakh, which Christians call the Old Testament. It also underlies some portions of the Talmud, all of which is excused in the name of Jehovah. Over in the Koran, which speaks in the name of Allah, who is the same god as the Old Testament Jehovah, good Moslems are exhorted to kill the enemies of Islam—the earth's infidels. Where has this message brought us?
As I write, our leaders have set the stage for all three religions to face off in the Middle East, in a world that has gone religiously mad. Here is the reason behind this web site and the works posted here. If sane, logical minds fail to stem the tide of religious madness, then this world is not going to survive. It's that simple.
In my opinion, Mel Gibson's Christian propaganda film should be taken out of theaters and nailed to the nearest garbage pail, which should be large enough to contain copies of the Old and New Testaments, the Talmud and the Koran. If enough people can come to the truth of the world's three "great" religions, then we all might—just might—have a chance of survival. If not, then "god" (some god, any god) help us all!

There is nothing. . . there is no God and no universe; there is only empty space, and in it a lost and homeless and wandering and companionless and indestructible Thought. And I am that thought. And God, and the Universe, and Time, and Life, and Death, and Joy and Sorrow and Pain only a grotesque and brutal dream, evolved from the frantic imagination of that same Thought.
By this light, the absurdities that govern life and the universe lose their absurdity and become natural, and a thing to be expected. It reconciles everything, makes everything lucid and understandable: a God who has no morals, yet blandly sets Himself up as Head Sunday School Superintendent of the Universe; Who has no idea of mercy, justice, or honesty, yet obtusely imagines Himself the inventor of those things; a human race that takes Him at His own valuation, without examining the statistics; thinks itself intelligent, yet hasn't any more evidence of it than had Jonathan Edwards in his wildest moments; a race which did not make itself nor its vicious nature, yet quaintly holds itself responsible for its acts.
